if system is in production (mirror) ISCSI for ESXI, is it safe to change swap from 2 (default) to 0 ?

No, you don't want to disable swap. If for whatever reason your system runs out of memory, your system may crash. With swap left on, you'll have a small buffer to fix the issue.

If you're concerned, there's nothing wrong with adding more RAM to your FreeNAS box.

Besides, changing the swap size in the GUI only affects new disks.
