Supermicro X8SIL-F support over 2TB HDD

Anyone using X8SIL-F or one of its sister models with 3TB or larger discs? Looking to buy a board with rev. 1.02. Supermicro page lists one 3TB Seagate for [ 3420 (Ibex Peak) ]

and multiple 3TB for Intel C200 Sata. I don't understand the selection between 3420 and C200 sata. How many controllers does this board has, looked like there is only one.

I actually use one in one of my servers, with smaller disks, though..
But since it supports a Seagate 3TB, I believe then that it supports any disk over 2TB
