Hello all. Does anyone know of a good place to learn how to understand the product names for Supermicro motherboards? I look at these motherboard names and all I see are letters, a few numbers and various lengths of lettered extensions. What do all of these letters mean? (For example) What am I comparing if I see a board with a -X-O vs one with just a -X?

If you could give a full tutorial or maybe a web site that already has this, that would be awesome!

Here's a link for the ones prior to the X10 series:

http://www.thomas-krenn.com/de/wiki/Supermicro_Product_Naming_Guide

and here's a link for the X10 series:

http://www.supermicro.com/products/Product_Naming_Convention/Naming_MBD_Intel_UP.cfm

The appended "-O" I think indicates a retail pack rather than a "bulk" pack.
