Issue 1

I have just two plugins currently. These were installed directly via the GUI.

When I go into 'plugins - installed' the system takes well over a minute to tell me that I have those two plugins...

Code:
Plugin name	Version	PBI	Jail	Service status	Actions
   Plexmediaserver	1.8.4.4249	plexmediaserver-1.8.4.4249-amd64	plexmediaserver_1
	Emby	3.2.30.0	emby-3.2.30.0-amd64	emby_1

Currently plex is turned on, and has an icon next to it.
Emby is off and there is simply a placeholder, not a proper icon..

If I try to turn emby on, I get that little progress bar beside the server status which goes for several minutes then stops. Emby is still off afterward.

Issue 2

If I go to 'plugins - available' it says loading and ultimately 'no entry has been found' ?

For the sake of clarity the 'plugins-configuration' still ha sthe repository URL at the default http://download.freenas.org/plugins/9/x64/pbi-meta/pbi-repo.rpo

If anyone can steer me it the right direction to solving things, that'd be super :) Cheers

Checked again this morning and still the same issue exists. Given that both are connected to the router via LAN cable it shouldn't be anything to do with a 'speed' issue surely?

Anyway I'm kind of at a loss, hopefully someone will pop in to assist. :)

Thanks all.

According to your signature, you're on FreeNAS 11.0-U3 is that the case?

Anything in /var/log/messages when the slowdown occurs?

Also, what is the output of ifconfig when things are slow?

I'll have a look.

It's not a matter of when a slowdown occurs, because it's constant :)

Have you resolved this yet? I noticed the same issue since updating to 11.1 U5. Plugins Available tab shows
Code:
No entry has been found

I don't use DHCP and I am able to ping download.freenas.org via the shell.
only thing in messages is some arp entries moving to different MACs.

Rolled back to 9.10 U6 and its working fine. I will try an updated stable version on a fresh install when new hardware arrives.

No I haven't resolved it yet. Nobody has piped in with solutions as yet and I'm a bit lost. Cant be a universal thing or everyone would be complaining !
