Hello,

I am still running FreeNAS 11.2 due to some older jails that are stuck in warden and I want to migrate over to 12.0. Everytime I try and use the script I always get errors and they do not seem to want to show up in the new UI. I cannot for dear life get the script to work and I really do not want to to try and recreate the jails from scratch.

Code:
  File "/usr/local/sbin/migrate_warden.py", line 149
    self.dir = ∑_dir
                   ^
SyntaxError: invalid character in identifier

This is one of the errors I get.

Which script are you using?

Why don't you take the opportunity to extract the data from your jails so that recreating a jail won't be such a pain in future?

Upgrading jails is a very slow process when you go between operating system versions (11.3 to 12), so you're probably much better off making new jails in 12 and dealing with the jail content/storage from the warden dataset anyway, forget the migration.

What jails are we talking about? (plugins? custom installed?)

I agree, building the jails from scratch is not as pain staking as you might think. If you talking about sonarr, radarr and plex they are quite simple.
