I'm kind of new to setting up FTP on FreeNAS, and wanted a little assistance.
I have FTP disabled, and SSH enabled for encrypted file transfer. Now, I have a Dataset inside of a Dataset. The nested Dataset is supposed to be a user's home folder, which looks like it has been successfully setup as such. However, when the user logs in, they are able to browse up to the parent Dataset which I do not want to have happen. I want them to be restricted to their Dataset, and myself have access to that Dataset also.
I would assume for sure it's possible to set it up like this, however I haven't been successful in finding the correct permission sequence. Any help is appreciated.
What I might do also, is set a completely separate Dataset outside of the main Dataset that I use and give him access primarily to that if I can, so that if they upload viruses by accident, it's quarantined (that's possible, right?)
