I know there are a lot of posts about speed issues but none seem to match my issues.
I've been running FreeNas for a while now and I'm not havin much luck. I've got a few shares set up and an FTP server but I'm getting really bad speeds. What I seem to be getting is data transferred in "batches" it will run at 30-40MB/s for a few seconds, then 0 for 10-15 seconds, then back up to speed for a few seconds. Getting this on both CIFS and FTP shares. Running on a GB network under ESX 5 with 2gb RAM allocated to Freenas server.
Can anyone help??
