Spectre & Meltdown a Concern for FreeNAS users?

I just run Plex on my setup .. is this latest Intel vulnerability a cause for concern? Are there going to be any type of performance hitting patches coming our way from the FreeNAS team?

Until an application is benchmarked, there's no good way of telling how its performance will be affected.
