So he has six systems for 390 TB of data. When trying to assemble stuff on the cheap, that can happen--but a box from 45drives.com filled with 10 TB disks would hold it all in a single server (or a 60-bay box with 8 TB disks--not sure which would be more expensive). Or even my SuperMicro box plus a JBOD shelf. Wonder how much bit rot has already happened in his data.
