I added two new SSD's for virtualization only and wanted to create a separate pool. However, I get the error below:
You must specify a new volume name or select an existing ZFS volume to append a virtual device The volume name must start with letters and may include numbers, "-", "_" and "." .

I added a name, and created the vdev with both drives.

Perhaps the two drives need formatting? If so, how best to do it?

Steps:
  1. Storage>Pools
  2. Add Pool
  3. Create new pool
  4. Enter name
  5. Select drives and added them to vDev
  6. Click create

I entered a new pool name that doesn’t match existing pool name.

Can you please share the exact name you used?

The error may point to a mismatch in the rules for pool names.

Oh, didn’t realise you wanted the exact name...“Secure Node” or “ZEN Secure Node”

It's hard to help when you won't answer simple questions. What did you enter for the pool name?
Sorry for the delay...life stuff
