Hi,

I'm trying to do somethin similar like when you want to save one or many media files from a USB drive to de NAS, you just go to GUI and import the files with just a few clicks. (import Disk)

I'm wondering if there's any feature like that to do the oposite. Save a file (or more) from the NAS to any USB drive attached to the NAS.

Hope someone know this, I can't find any answe to this.

thanks in advance.

In latest releases writing to non zfs drives had kind of been removed. Your best bet is to just save it via the network with the usb device attached to a different computer. Performance won't be bottlenecked unless you tell me you're using usb3.

SweetAndLow, Thanks for the prompt response...!!!!
And yes I was thinking to use my new usb.3

Sadly the team removed that feature. I like the way the FN works "alone" without any help from another computer.

Do you know If there's a way using the shell or connecting via SSH???

Sure, just google how to mount a FAT32-formatted USB device on FreeBSD, then log in via SSH and do that. Finally, use your favorite command line tools to move the files.
