Hi all,
So I have had my Truenas up and running for about a month. I'm looking for help to reduce or adjust the constant 5 second writes that happening. Ive searched the forums and have removed my ix-applications, rebuilt my server (twice) but the only thing that has helped is adjusting the zfs_txg_timeout. Now, calm down, I know that I should not adjust this or mess with it hence why I'm asking for a different option.
The server is right next to me in my office/guestroom and I can't have it constantly making noise. If there iss not viable solution then I'll switch to a different system but thought I'd try on last time.
Thanks!

Have you tried TrueNAS CORE instead - plus putting the system dataset on an SSD?

I presume this is your boot pool? The logs on Cobia go to the boot pool every 5 seconds. But from your signature it looks like that is an SSD.

For moving the system pool in Scale, go to System -> Advanced -> Storage (Configure).
