So what happened to my post from yesterday?

I posted in the hardware section last night and now that thread is gone. Today it seemed the forum was down for most of the day. Anyone know what happened?

I'm guessing the server went down and was restarted with a previous backup that was several hours old.

Yeah, the sysadmin indicated that we lost a couple of posts when the server was restored from backups. I'll forward you my email copy of the original message so that you can recreate the post.
