Dear all,
I would like to monitor the power mode (active, idle, standby, sleep) of my disks in the FreeNAS from a remote host. I manage to do so by periodically executing (ssh) a shell script that invoked smartctl. Using SNMP is probably a better way. I searched around for a while but I did not find OIDs for power mode. I would be happy if somebody could direct me to how to retrieve these and other values relating to power consumption and server health (e.g. disk and CPU temperatures, ...) by SNMP.
Cheers,
Boris
