Hey Nvxwax,
You need to provide the full detail about your setup when asking any kind of questions. With only the symptom, we can not do much. Here, an important piece of info that is missing is your FreeNAS version.
The snapshot tagged as 2020-02-29_00:00 was taken at the proper time, but is not named after the retention period.
On the other end, the one taken later at 04:15 in the morning is not on this schedule but is named with the retention period.
That looks like 2 snapshots taken by 2 different tasks. So for that, also provide the list of all your snapshot task, not only the description for one of them.

The question is more about the extra snapshot. Maybe that one ended up taken while you were doing tests and trying different things... Let see if another of these appear...
If it does, 11.3U1 is --very-- recent and so may well contain bugs like this one. If an extra snapshot does appear, I would submit a bug report.

Its weird, I just upgraded to that today, This has been going on for about a month, i have a page of duplicates (not sure what you would call them lol)
Maybe this update will correct it, im not sure where the other task is coming from, ghosts i guess lol

It looks like something remained in the cron task scheduler without making it to the surface through the WebUI...
I would submit a bug ticket with all that info : FreeNAS version, screenshot of all snapshot tasks, screenshot of all snapshots taken plus all the details about your upgrade, your hardware, etc.
This is really what it looks like to me : another bug that early adopters clean up for me while I wait calmly with FreeNAS 11.2

Good for you to have such backups. Many here do not have any...
