Hi Everyone,

I started testing all my new hardware this weekend and as I was going through the thread below on burning in your drives I came across a weird value on one of my drives.

https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/how-to-hard-drive-burn-in-testing.21451/

The spin up time raw value was high it seemed. Ive looked around and cant seem to find much on the value and what it could mean for the drive. Here are the results any input would be helpful.

No problem here ;)

The value is in ms so this drive takes roughly 6 sec to spin-up.

Seems like a long time to get rolling at the right RPM correct? Id rather go through the hassle of an RMA now before data is on the drives if anythng looks out of wack. Thanks for the prompt response.

Not at all, my drives are between 6.0 and 6.2 seconds, perfectly normal ;)
