Hello,
I started a POC at home with FreeNAS 8.2.0 to ESXi host my machine and my private data.
But I have a big problem of slow data transfers.
Current situation:
3 network cards.
- A map for Management (em0, integrated card)
- A card for access to my private data (RE0, Netgear GA311)
- A card for ESXi (re1, Netgear GA311)
There is no VLAN. Everything is connected to the same switch to Go
The data is stored on:
- VM-Store, 2 x HD mirror
- Data-Store HD 2 x mirror
¨
Disks are accessible through iSCSI and mounted directly on Windows 7
Netstat-i
All good
ifconfig
All good
The network Go and network adapters as well.
When I want to transfer items from my PC Microsoft Windows 7 Pro on FreeNAS-Data-Store, the flow approaches painfully 2MB / s.
I tried to assign the network card integrated into the Target Data Store, and I can flow a little better 33Mo / s.
I also removed the network card to test windows 7 on my PC and do a test transfer between two Windows 7 PCs and I arrive at a rate of 64MB / s which is very good.
I tried to change the switch, I also tried changing network cables.
But still the same problem of slowness.
Any ideas?
