SLOG, mirror mode or not?

Hi,

I have a simple question... should I use a mirrored SLOG device or is a single device sufficient enough as it's a mirror for, what should be in RAM anyway...
currently I have a mirrored SLOG on 2 NVME's.

btw. is there an option to change when the data is finally written to disk?
from what i saw, the SLOG device is holding data only for a short amount of time.
