When I reboot freeNAS via the gui invariably I get the error described in the screenshot, can someone guide as to the meaning, is it hardware, software, report as a bug etc???

TIA

Looks like the boot device died. Are you able to successfully boot if you reinstall the same version to a different USB stick?

Mmm thats what I thought first time. However a hard reboot and it all goes swimmingly. Its a pretty new 60Gb SSD with lots of room. Not got a spare SSD to swap out...

Having just got 11.2 Release (many thanks!) I'm not overly keen to mess with my "perfect setup" How easy is it to swap ssd to usb and back ?

Just checked Amazon, and a 120Gb Kingston SSD is only 20 UKP (which is trivial in the grand scheme of things  ), so if you are confident I might just buy that and be done.

I presume I can add it, mirror it and then remove the "broken one". Though I recall beta versions didn't like boot drive mirroring, is that OK now in 11.2Release? Many thanks
