I am having a weird issue every time I enable https in Settings General Protocol i am locked out. I can not login though 80 or 443 and I have to do a re-install of freenas. This just my test build but it worries me that I am getting locked out and I have to re-install to get back in. I have also checked my firewall and nothing is being blocked going to freenas

That's an odd one. The first thing that strikes me is that there is a way to reset the web interface back to 80 via the console. Is that not an option for you?

More to address the problem, are you using Chrome by chance? I've had nothing but trouble with Chrome regarding internal sites that were http and now are https or vice versa. It's almost impossible to switch from one to the other.

yeah I was using chrome I think I even used firefox but not sure. Yeah their is no option to reset back to port 80 I was looking through freenas configs and at lighttpd and changed some settings and nothing worked
