Its discussed in the manual, but it sends it to the "root" account. If you edit the root users settings, you put the address you want it forwarded to there.
This is the documenation I mentioned, it's about 2/3 of the way down.
You can't select which logs to send, not yet anyway. I don't recall seeing a feature request for that, but you can go to support.freenas.org and add a ticket for that feature if you don't find one already.
If you are familiar with scripting in .sh format you could setup a mail message that contains the body of the log files you choose. There's lots of scripts around the forum you could probably read and with some Googling figure out how to get it to do what you want.
im not familiar with sh.
But i know a little about bash.
I was successful in using the mail -s command
but not sure how to put that in a bash script (but i know how to set it up to run with cron)
