Setting Up Rancher in 11.1

I am trying to follow the Guide to set up Rancher in 11.1.

I get to the end where it instructs to add a host. However, Rancher goes to an Add Custom Host page and gives instructions to install Docker on another machine and run a linux command there.

This could be normal and I am misunderstanding how it's supposed to work. Is docker supposed to run remotely from the server?

How do I complete the process to set up Rancher from this point?

Got it working. For anyone else that gets stuck at this point: You log into the Rancher VM and run the command generated there.
