Hi guys,
I'm in the process of setting up my FreeNAS (& maybe another for a fail-over cluster) to support my new VM setup - CloudStack in particular.
The installation guidelines specifies the following options for the exports: async & no_root_squash
Unfortunately I am unable to modify or have FreeNAS retain settings I change in /etc/exports on the server for my chosen exports.
A bit of googling shows that (rw,async,no_root_squash) is not an all-too-uncommon requirement (most notably XBMC).
I know that I can set the async in the sysctl, but that sets the option globally & can have some very nasty repercussions.
Thanks in advance - any advise would be greatly appreciated.
