I was thinking of purchasing another 2 drive, that would make my total 6x3tb (red)
I have been looking at what I backup. I figured I only have about 2-2.5tb of critical data I need backup and the rest of the data is just stuff... I can always backup again.
Is there any actual benefit (other then space) to only setting up a mirror of 2 drives, and just put the rest in a JBOD or raid0?
Would I potentially get better read/write speeds when I am backing up my movies and picture for media server setup?
