Secure my Truenas login

Hello,

First of all, il wish everyone a happy new year, i hope it will be a better one of course. Perhaps you will understand my poor english because i am french :)

I have been using Truenas for a few weeks, and it works fine, with 8 hard drives.

I have a simple question about the root password. I discovered that it could be changed just by accessing the console with a screen and a keyboard plugged to the nas. It is not requested to input the old password before changing it....

Is there a way to setup that in a different way ?

Il y a une section en français aussi dans le forum si tu le souhaites...

So for sure you can secure the console. It is as simple as clicking a checkbox. Or should I say uncheck that box

It is under System ; Advanced

It is where you can choose to have a console that will be or not protected by a password.
