Probably wont hurt to put a fan on it. Usb3 gets hotter than most and isn't really suggested for that reason sometimes.

so it`s normal? not QC failure or something? read manual and check all sensor
but found nothing about sas controller temp.
will take off all hd from sas and change setting to disable for a while.
please tell me if any good fan cooler that would fit with sas heatsink size?

The LSI controllers need a high-airflow environment
Not really high-airflow, just "decent airflow". Most people complaining about the LSI SAS controller's temperature have no fans blowing over the lower portion of the motherboard.

thank you for reply.
chip still hot with or without hdd.
about 66c. i blow some air using rear fan 140mm, speed 1000 distance 120mm temp drop to 60-61c
and from front drop to 59c.

The LSI controllers need a high-airflow environment or a dedicated cooler in my opinion.

if i change factory heatsink with another, will void the warranty?
