Sabnzbd

Hi,

I have FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-p2-x86 running. It is working great but i want to install SABNZBd. How can i do this? On the internet i find 60 different methods and none of them are working.

you can hack sabnzbd onto your system, basically you just need the extra python dependencies. then just run the sab python code. I don't recommend this way cause it dirties up your system and the only way to get it run on startup is to mess with a normally unwritable partition, also this partition gets over written everytime you up update freenas.

The prefered method is to upgrade to 8.2 and install my plugin, at that point you just run 2 command within the plugin jail and sab will be running. Once again 8.2 is in beta and may change before they release it.
