Hello,

I've got a jail with SABnzbd and sonarr. For both users, I've created a True NAS User sonarr (351) and sabnzbd (350). I've got 3 data sets mounted to the jail

/mnt/Plex_12TB/media2 -> /mnt/VMsJails/iocage/jails/myUsenetJail/root/usr/local/share/media2
/mnt/Plex_8TB/media1 -> /mnt/VMsJails/iocage/jails/myUsenetJail/root/usr/local/share/media1
/mnt/TempFlash/temp1/nzbtemp -> /mnt/VMsJails/iocage/jails/myUsenetJail/root/usr/local/share/temp

I've got categories setup to download cat1 to media1/_incoming and cat2 to media2/_incoming, from their either sonarr moves it to the right folder or I do it manually, connected via SMB (Mac or PC). Every now and then I can't, because of security, have to flush down permissions on the data set to all subfolders, then I can go on and do what I have to do.

My user (using to access it via SMB) is in the supplemental group "truenas_users", and that group is primary group for the data set and has full control and flag is set to inherit.

What is potentially going wrong here? How to overcome that issue?

cheers

J.
