Hi All...

I am currently on 11.6U3, but based some of the posts I have seen here I am a bit shy to upgrade to 11.2.

IIUC, the change from 11.1Ux to 11.2Ux means a change in boot loader (very scary for someone who is not a FreeBSD wizzard).

My boot drive is a 120GB SSD, so space is not an issue and I have kept a few boot environments. As long as I don't upgrade my storage pools is reverting back simple?

On previous version it was as easy as selecting a different menu entry on boot - does that stilll apply, or does the change of boot loader mess that up?

Thanks in advance for any guidance/suggestions.

Yes, you can still select which version to load. The install has failed twice for me from 11.1-U6.3 to 11.2-U1 due to a mount issue (so it seems).

One thing I made sure I did was set a working boot environment to "keep." Just a peace of mind thing.
