What type of share? What type of client? What exact error message?

Thanks for the reply, I am not getting any error messages, First, because I could not access the share i created a new pool and a new share hoping i could import the old share into the new one. When I try to import the ZFS Volume there is no volume showing up in step two the volume not showing up that box is blank. Second, I try importing the Dick, the dick showed up in the disk area (ad1p2, ad2p2) so I can click the drop down box and select the dick to import, but, the destination box is not showing any destination for me select and i am not sure how to point to a destination. If I put the shared path in I get an error that say "path cannot be found". I did search the forum and found people with similar question and some left on answered and other said they solve it but did not say how. I also try to follow the freenas instruction.

How exactly did you create the new pool? Hopefully you did not overwrite the old one?

If you selected the disks from the previous pool, you reformatted them and the data is gone. Do you have a backup you can restore?

I did it as if I was starting from scratch by creation a user account and create the pool and then the share as I did the first time years ago.

I think you are right because it did ask me to choose a raid and select the disk so if I did that i delete all my data?
