Hi
I recently built a new NAS with the following specs:
MB: Supermicro X9SRL-F
CPU: Xeon E5-2650 v2
RAM: Hynix 64GB 1600MHz
Drives: 10x10TB Wd Red (white label)
All drives are connected via onboard SATA-ports, and the pool is encrypted and ZFS2. While transfering data, I was unfortunate, and one of the SATA cables was loose, so I got errors, and had to replace the cable. I hade loaded the pool with about 4TB (of total usable space 67TB), and instead of mounting it again, which can be buggy, I decided to test resilver performance.
The resilvering is going along nicely, and after about 75 minutes, I'm already at 80%! Way faster than I expected.
Is this because of the low fill grade on the server? Will this increase as I fill up the server?
