Replication snapshots CIFS versions

Should I expect to see shadow copy versions on the server I push replicated snapshots to? This is in version 9.2.0

Unfortunately not. The snapshots are present on the destination system but if you share the dataset via CIFS they won't appear as shadow copies. The reason is that FreeNAS configures the samba vfs_shadow_copy2 module based on the configured snapshot tasks. As there are no snapshot tasks defined on the destination system shadow copies will not be enabled.

I can't help you much as I've never gotten shadow copies to work properly for me.
