Replication Destination - wrong path?

Trying to replicate nas1:tank/veeam to nas2:tank/veeam, but the job created nas2:tank/veeam/veeam.

What's with the additional directory in the path?

Also, neither here nor there since the initial replication task isn't done yet, but why do I see over 1TB in use on the target, but I still see no files or snapshots? Is this not visible until the job is done?

Hey 4xTroy,

The reason is that you specified tank/veeam as a target. For that reason, this is where FreeNAS went as a root point for its own replication. What is to be replicated is the dataset named after the source pool, so veeam. So that source, veeam, will be saved under the root path you asked, which is tanks/veeam. That is how you end up with tank2/veeam/veeam. Tank2 and first veeam as root path where to save everything and second veeam as root source to be replicated.

If you wish to have the same structure, you need to replicate to tank2 and not tank2/veeam.

Good luck doing your replication,
