replacing my perc 5i with a dell H310

I have a PowerEdge 2950. I am pulling the perc 5i card. I found a dell h310 6gbps SAS 9211-8i in it mode. will this fit my 2950? if yes will I have to buy new cables to go from the card to the backplane I think I do buy want to check. thanks in advance.

If your chassis has an 8x PCIe riser card, then the 9211-8i should physically fit the chassis.
How ever, I have no knowledge regarding compatibility for drives with
capacity exceeding 2TB, sorry!

It will work. Same connectors as the M1015 and perc H200 cards. I have 2 of them cross-flashed.
