On my 9.3 (FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201602031011) I just replaced a USB boot device (it was one of a mirror). I used the GUI Boot->Status->select failing device and click replace. Now I see that the device isn't listed like the rest of my drives (using the GPTID). Instead, it's using the da3 name.

Should I be concerned? Is this OK? Looking for advice.

Code:
  pool: freenas-boot
state: ONLINE
  scan: resilvered 7.15G in 1h2m with 0 errors on Sun Mar 27 19:18:06 2016
config:

        NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
        freenas-boot ONLINE 0 0 0
          mirror-0 ONLINE 0 0 0
            da3p2 ONLINE 0 0 0

I'd file a bug report, just to be sure.

Some of the boot device handling logic seems to have suffered with the transition from FreeBSD 9 to FreeBSD 10.

Hmm, I'll have to make a mental note of this. It's certainly unintuitive.
