N00b here.. setting up Nextcloud on FN 11.3
when first trying to Manage, I receive the screen with the error "Access through untrusted domain” etc...
Edited the config.php (that was a pain just to find...but did it!) to include the IP address used by my Freenas server and the Nextcloud server....
after editing the file to reflect the IP address of my FreeNas server and adding the line for the Nextcloud server... I now cannot even connect to the Nextcloud server....
Accessing via Chrome on Win 10 machine, I get
"This site can’t be reached
192.168.1.26
refused to connect."

if I remove the line 2 => '192.168.1.26',
from the config.php file... I get back to the Access through Untrusted domains screen....

any ideas on what direction to look?
Thanks!!

Anyone?
This is so weird... as mentioned... try to mange.. I get the Untrusted Domains screen... as soon as I add the line 2=> '192.168.1.26'.
it won't connect... or change line 1 to that IP (that is the IP of my Nextcloud server...)
delete the line and change config.pho back to what it was...
connects.. but still shows the untrusted domains screen

maddening!

@exeter_acres - This response will not help you but it helps me - I thought I was going mad when I experienced the same behaviour. I was glad to see someone having the same experience
Checking the NextCloud forums I see a lot of the community left hanging out to dry with 0 resolutions to continual outages and unreliable platforms.
Its a shame - a nice idea but no where near reliable enough for my personal liking.

Appears user Tim1962 has an answer and it is working for me as of now

Obviously, the IP through which you access NC should be in the list. I have always used DHCP JAIL config to access NC so it has it's own dedicated IP address. Also, the overwriteconfig should be on http. If however, at some point in time you would want to use SSL and an FQDN, that should go to https. The downside of this is that you cannot access NC via the local IP anymore but this is no issue because you can always access via the FQDN.
