Hello, I am new here, not an expert On ZFS or FreeNAS. We have a couple freeNAS servers we use to store data and backups. After a power loss one of them had trouble getting On the network again.

The system is latest 11.2 and had one pool with 2 mirrored 8 TB. I recently put up Plex in a jail but that is not important.

I decided to Reset the Configuration On the console to get Access On the network.this worked but in the gui My pool was invidible. I Made a new pool and added both disks in there thinking that would get the data back. The disk show correct used TB but My old data is not there. After Reading here I. Realise thiswas not How to do things.

Any idea How to Recover the data from those disks?

Turns out I also did not backup My original config, so I am a bit stuck here

It will heavily depend on how you did this as to what can happen to get data back... It should not have been possible to do that without first electing to Wipe the disks.

What's the output from:

zpool status

zpool import

zpool history <name of your pool>

the old pool had a different name: ALSVideoRaid and there is no info to be found anymore with these commands.
