Recommendations for a Scale Out system

Looking for recommendations.
I am looking to run 3 TrueNas Scale systems with TrueCommnand.
I would like to do a cluster for use with Esxi / Vcenter.
Any recommendations on connected TrueNas Scale to an ESXi host? We normally use Iscsi but i saw Iscis isnt supported with clustering only smb....
