Read only when saving files to NAS

Running latest Truenas and not sure if this is a Windows issue or a TrueNas issue....
When ever I download a file, program, etc and save it to my NAS mapped drive....
The permissions are Read
and that is it...
I thn have to manually go to any file I save and change the Permissions in Windows to Full Control
(Right click, Properties, Security)

I have done this for the entire Downloads folder on the NAS drive, but it still happens for any new file I save...

ANy idea a direction to go with this?

I did just rebuild my Windows box and it didn't used to do this.. now it does.. so Yes, May be a Windows thing...but still helpful someone here may at least know a direction to go....

Sorry...In TrueNAS GUI. permissions for the share are Full Control

Have you selected the share purpose as SMB WORM?

and while the Windows Security still shows just read...
I was able to execute a file I just downloaded... will keep testing

Just checked and no... under purpose there are no presets
