I have two boxes setup in two different networks at two separate locations I was hoping to get syncing with ownCloud, but in both cases after installation of the ownCloud plugin it pointed to something like http://192.168.1.3 where that is not the box's IP and that IP isn't even available in the DHCP pool (already assigned). I looked at boot logs and indeed owncloud seems to be started with this seemingly random IP. Does ownCloud need its own IP separate from Freenas? Is this an error of the jail? (Obviously going to that IP doesn't work)

Random IPs for ownCloud plugin?

Every plugin gets its own IP, based on how YOU set up the jail configuration. Your plugins should not share an IP with FreeNAS or anything else on the network.
