I would imagine create your two RAID1 pairs 1st followed by take those two RAID1 sets and create a RAID0.

create a mirror, then create a new one and use the name of the first one in volume name, it still stripe both mirrors, getting you a raid10.

Why not RAID5 (RAIDZ)?
With RAID10 you have 50% from your storage, with RAID5 and 4 drive you have 75% from your storage.

hi, thats what i would like to do, ive got 4 disks, how do i get a raid5 in fn8? i have only the options mirror and stripe... in fn7 i could create a software raid... cant find it anymore in fn8... thanks!
