quick upgrade question

We currently have FreeNAS-9.10.2-U4 (27ae72978) running and want to upgrade to latest stable version 11.0 U1 I believe.

Are there any concerns with just an in place upgrade? cant afford to lose data and have no where else to put it during the upgrade

If there is a good upgrade document please point me to it
