Putting the two cache and zil ssd in the boot process fails to boot.

I have to use the F11 on the mini freenas device to boot from other drive .. Is there a way to change the boot order while remote? I am not next to the device.

Do you have network access to the device? If so, use the remote console via IPMI.

Yes I can access the Unit however i dare not reboot for it will not boot without pressing F11 and choosing the boot drive. This happened only when I added the ZIL and cache ssd.

If you have network access to it you can use the remote console over IPMI. From the remote location you can do whatever you could do local to the machine.

You should be able to set the boot device and save it in the bios though!

Ok. Ill give it a go. Is the IPMI a commandline or browser?

Browser to the IPMI IP. Username admin, PW admin, Remote Control, Console Redirection.
