Hi everyone,

Yesterday night my freenas system started the zpool scrub as scheduled. I've never had any problem and while the system was completing the task, I was always able to use plex, transmission, etc.
Anyway, this morning I was trying to access Freenas GUI, but I couldn't, so I shut down the server and turned it on. After that, I noticed that jails were not working properly (I could not start Plex and Trasmission, I could not stop Couchpotato and aMule). I tried to reboot the system, but since some of the jails are not stopping, the system could not reboot (so I had to shut it down and re-turn it on).

After that, I've tried to stop the scrub, using both GUI and command line, but both ways don't work. A friend told me to wait until the scrub is finished to see what happens, but my feelings are that something is wrong and I cannot figure out what it is.

What should I do?

Here is what I get from zpool status, which I've been monitoring for a few hours. I noticed that the task does not seem to progress (it is stuck to 342G scanned) but the speed is costantly slowing down (when I turned the system on, the speed was 130 M/s). :

It looks like a bug. If you are on 11.1, you should move back to 11.0-U4.

Thanks, so that means that I have to re-install freenas on the USB stick and then import the pool.
No you rollback using the gui. It's under the boot section I believe.

You can also do it at the grub boot screen. Just select a different boot environment.

Am I asking too much to have it explained step-by step?

And after that I move to 11.0-U4 using the GUI and everything will work fine? :D
No clue, I'm just telling you how to rollback. Thanks will be exactly like you are on 11.0

Allright, I'll figure it out. I'll be working in my server tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,
I tried and now the system works fine!
I guess that the issue was caused by a bug. I'll figure out how to report it.
Anyway thanks for helping!
