Hi
I am current in the progress of putting together my first TrueNas system.
it is going to be a low cost system.
Specs a follow:
I3 8100
2x8 gb non ECC DDR4
AsrockRack E3C246D4U
HDD combo not decided yet.
The main reason for the upgrade is the lagging of my current setup when streaming movies from my nas.
My network setup is a follow.
200/200 mbit fiber connection
UDM-PRO
US-8-150W switch
UAP-HD AC
My current NAS is a Synology DS718+ with 2GB ram
One 4tb seagate ST4000LM016
One 4TB WD WD40EZRZ
I am streaming to my iPhone 11
So the question is where is my bottlewneck in the current system?
Is the NAS, the HDD chosen, the WIFi or the phone, Or…….. ?
