PMS on freenas 8

Hey all i have been searching Google for an up to date guild to installing the PS3 Media Server. This link is way out of date going back to 09 http://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/freenas/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1605

Can someone give me some advice on the topic?

I don't think there's any advice to provide from this forum. You are referring to features that were in FreeNAS .7. FreeNAS .7 was forked to NAS4Free so you should try there.
