Hello FreeNAS community,

I'm new to FreeNAS and FreeBSD in general so please excuse me if my mistake is obvious.

when trying to start a plugin from the plugin manager i get the following errors:

Code:
Mar 22 18:54:41 freenas manage.py: [plugins.utils:71] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.178.138/plugins/sickbeard/_s/status: HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway
Mar 22 18:54:41 freenas manage.py: [plugins.utils:71] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.178.138/plugins/Rtorrent/_s/status: HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway
Mar 22 18:54:41 freenas manage.py: [plugins.utils:71] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.178.138/plugins/transmission/_s/status: HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway

where 192.168.178.138 is the ip of the freenas webinterface

i have configured the plugin jail with an unused ip, setup the default gateway in the global network settings (192.168.178.1) and set the right netmask (/24)

i have no idea why this occurs or how to fix it.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi zottelbeyer,

I don't know why this happens, what causes it or if there is a proper solution....but I've seen the same thing and if you just let the box sit there for a while the "3rd party" plug-ins will show up in the tree view.

sorry for the late update but:

the plugin status does show up as "off" and can not be switched to "on"
