Hi All,

Not sure if this is me doing something wrong or a bug, but every time i install a plugin my CIFS shares disappear off the network. When I remove them and reboot my server the shares appear. But any of the shares that I have created a remote link to, works without any issues with the plugin installed!

Admittedly I've only tried firefly & subsonic and I'll try some others tonight; but has anyone got any suggestions?

Am running version 9.2.1.5

Thanks

Peter

Open the Shell in the GUI, type more /var/log/messages and use the spacebar to read through it.

Typing that is the shell; it tells me that there "No such ile or directory"

I've tried different plugin ins but it makes no difference

There are some problems with the CIFS service start/stop script in 9.2.1.5. If you reboot the server with the plugins installed, does CIFS sharing work?

I switched off the plugins and restarted, then switched them back on and re-started again and I can see the shares again.

Thank you for the help!
