Plex works fine with pictures, but not with video

Hi there! I finally was able to get my nas setup and add plex. I was having issues with permissions but I figured that out. My problem now is that the photos I add to my plex library via truenas are visible and work, but the video files I have added will not populate in plex. I have been trying test runs to see if anything works in a specific location, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what this could be. I have been using plex for years, but I just recently got into truenas and I haven’t encountered this issue before on other servers.

No problem, once you’ve got it setup, go into the jail via the shell in TrueNas or ssh with Putty and download a script from here:

Once you download it, you can update plex without having to wait for TrueNas / Freenas to update.
