Plex version missing commercial removal option

I tried the plug in version and the commercial removal function was missing from it so I did a manual install but find it is also missing that option. Is there a Plex version that will run in a jail that will allow me to use my plex pass option to remove commercials?

I am running the latest version of FreeNAS.

This doesn't sound like a FreeNAS issue. It may be more appropriate to head over to the Plex forum and present your question there.

Yes, in both instances I installed the plex pass version. My search on the forum showed a post that claimed the FreeBSD version did not support that option, but it was a year old.

My manual build I used the command line in the jail to install the program.
I used this command - pkg install plexmediaserver-plexpass
followed by - sysrc plexmediaserver_plexpass_enable=YES

and I ran update and upgrade commands but the installed version does not support that.. but does support hardware transcoding so I know I have the plex pass version installed.

Yes, I had seen that one. Not looking for a VM option. I think I've found the answer.. is unfortunately no... I have Version 1.14.1.5488 and when I log into Plex in my browser it says there is an update.. but it lists what changes were made in the update and there is no mention of commercial removal. Also, some Plex forums also say it is not an available option in the FreeBSD version. Maybe someday... hopefully sometime this year. I've been using it on my Ubuntu mate build for some time now.
